Safiport Derince International Port, which aims to be the largest port in Turkey with its renewed management within the scope of privatization; It is located in the Marmara Region, north of the Gulf of Izmit.

Safiport Derince Port has an important place in increasing the trade volume of Istanbul, Central Anatolia and Marmara Regions, which is the industrial center of Turkey, with its wide port areas, highway and railway connections. It has started to work towards becoming Turkey's largest international port and aims to expand the currently used port area of ​​450,000 m² with sea fill and additional berths to increase it to a field capacity of 1,200,000 m². With the expansion works to be done, the container volume will be increased to 2,500,000 TEU, the bulk cargo capacity will be increased to 10,000,000 tons/year; With the multi-storey car park project, it is aimed to increase the number of vehicles to 1,500,000.

Thanks to the extensive possibilities of the port; It is the only port in the Gulf Region that serves all kinds of cargo such as ro-ro, project cargo, bulk cargo, general cargo, liquid bulk cargo, container and wagon, and can provide all port services at the same time in the Gulf Region.

The design, project and turnkey implementation of the "SAFIPORT Maintenance and Repair Building and Management Office", which is located in this important building and site and was implemented to serve the port personnel and management team with maintenance and repair services of the port during the restructuring process, was made by the TEAM Project Architecture.
